It’s getting hard. On a day I discover someone has stolen a large wad of cash from my bank account moving beyond my disbelief and ‘poor me’ mindset it is definately harder to find the good.
Today I had the privilege of sitting down and help someone think through some big life decisions and for that privilege I am thankful and undeserving.

365 made it into our team meeting. Its a real privilege to be able to sit down with the people you work with and be thankful together, sharing the things we are thankful about was an exhilarating experience.
The simple satisfaction of finishing a letter and a trust application.
A friend coming round – thinking of watching a DVD and 3 hours later we had started to sort out the world, and were reminding each other of some of Jesus’ amazingly powerful stories. I’m feeling so alive and exhilarated.
Starting to think of the reasons to be thankful and things I can thank God for really does multiply my ability to see God at work and blow me away, and its maybe for that that I’m most thankful.

Well we (in that royal sense) have reached the one week. It certainly is an interesting discipline stopping to note down the things that I’ve been thankful for.
Today is church. The community, the willingness to tackle Halloween in a children’s service, the inspiration and challenge of the Spirit filled life resulting in generosity tonight. The massive crop of apples on the tree at home enabling me to bring back a bag of homegrown apples.

Watching episode 3 of Spooks on a data projector with surround sound, then topping off by going to see the Kingdom. A day of geopolitical intrigue. And an extra hour in bed!
